Film Development: [Idea Part 3] Film Pitch and Feedback

 Introduction

Hi everyone! Today, I will be talking about the results of our Film Pitch and the Feedback we received from the other group. So to recap, the questions we answered last time were:

• State the theme
• What is your movie about?
• How did you come up with the idea?
• How will you hook your audience in the film's opening?
• Who will be in the beginning of the film? 
• What type of world do the characters reside in?
• What is the main desire of the protagonist?
• What are the obstacles of the protagonist?
• The hook/highlights: What will they do to solve the problem? 

So what did the group think of our answers? They thought that our idea was phenomenal and intriguing. They were actually cheering us on for our idea! They did recommend that we added more background information though, so that we can know more about the characters. I agree with what they said, and I'm glad they pointed that out so we can add it to our planning sheet!

Reflection

To reflect, I was super overjoyed to hear that the other group liked our pitch so much! It made us feel comfortable in our idea and it helped us actually improve by hearing their critiques. We have more knowledge, and we heard a different perspective than our usual 4. Sorry for the short post today, but thanks for reading! Have a great day, P is taking her leave.
