INTRODUCTION
Hello all! For today's blog post, I am discussing storyboarding!! Let's dive right in.
Storyboarding is when directors of a film draw out the scenes frame by frame. The importance of this process is to make sure the ending product isn't messy. A storyboard shows the production film's ideas on paper before they can bring it to life.
Film production, is a procedure in which directors take to create the best film they can. It is filled with multiple steps to ensure success in the end. For this assignment, my team and I created a storyboard with 16 frames, illustrating a "rough draft" to a story.
Camerawork, is how the camera is being used for films. Learning camerawork is important to students because it tells a larger story. By understanding camerawork, we can make amazing films that convey the emotion that we want the audience to have. The four categories of camerawork that was used in this assignment was, shot size, camera angles, framing, and composition.

REFLECTION
To summarize, The objective of this activity was to learn about the importance of storyboarding, and how to utilize that in our own films.
We created our own storyboard, and the purpose of making it was to sketch our ideas on paper, so our film is more organized. The goal of this assignment, like I said, was to highlight the importance of storyboards.
My team prepared for this assignment by discussing the kind of story we were going to tell. Once we did that, we sketched all the ideas on paper, so we can get a feel for what it would look like.
DAY 1:
We were in class, drawing the two sheets for this assignment. I worked on the first paper, while my teammate Lexi M, worked on the second paper. At first, I was kind of stressed, because my drawings weren't coming out right, and I felt that I wasn't telling the right story. But then I started to think outside of the box, and BOOM! It worked!

MY TEAM:
My awesome teammates are: Khloe R, Marley B, and Lexi M. I worked on sheet 1, Lexi M. worked on sheet 2, and Khloe R. and Marley B worked with sheets 3 and 4. Khloe R. helped with planning the story, and Marley B. helped with research as well. I appreciate my team for everything they contributed for this assignment. We were able to complete it with all of our brains combined into one!

For this assignment, we used technology like our laptops (for research), and our phones. I think we were all experts at this.
In this assignment, I gained knowledge on storyboarding, and its importance in filmmaking. With this skill, we can use storyboards to help us with our short film later. Thanks for your time! P is signing off.
